It comprises a central leg (400) and a "L"-shaped frame (402) on which a movable seat (428) and a movable back (408) are independently mounted. In order to enable the seat (428) to be continuously movable so that the geometry of the chair can be adapted at all times to the position of the user, the underside of the seat forms two slides which are engaged into two guides formed in a support (414) connected to the frame (402). The back (408) is hinged so as to be able to tilt rearwards independently of the position of the seat and is returned elastically to its normal position.
