<p>The machine has a bottle grab head whose holding member works in a stationary curved guide and is attached to a control rod. The free end of the latter is attached to a rotary arm on a shaft halfway between the curved guide end pieces. The shaft turns through an angle, in which the arm thrusts the member between the lowermost position in the shorter vertical end section of the guide and that in the other and longer vertical end section. A disc (23) turns with the arm (15), and has a chain or belt (25) attached to and passing round its periphery. This is reeved round a pulley (26) to the side of the short guide end (12), and attached at the other end to the piston rod (27) of a pressurised cylinder (28), or to a spring or counterweight. The chain unwinds from the disc tangentially as long as the member (9) is in the longer vertical end section 11) of the guide.</p> |
