The filter sleeve which can e.g. be made of paper is in the form of a folding bellows which has several parallel folds (4) which can be placed against each other and run across the longitudinal axis (3) of the filter. This design allows the filters to be stacked up with min space although when used its filter capacity is greatly increased. The extension of the filter in the axial direction is to be restricted so that the distance between the individual folds should only be large enough for a sufficient space for storing the dust. The same filter size can now be used for machines of different sizes but of the same structure.
