<p>The forklift truck has a driving position and a side-thrust mechanism, both adjustable for height, with a slewing load support on the mechanism. The support is mounted on a vertical lifting mast or frame, whose axis, or plane, coincides with its slewing axis. It can work in a vertical rectangular frame, to whose cross-members the slewing bearings are fixed, these working with mating portions on the side-thrust mechanism. The side-thrust mechanism may be supported by two spaced, horizontal rails on the operator's stand, containing needle bearings, partly abutting the rail upper and lower surface.</p> |
