IC INSERTION TOOL

An IC insertion tool comprises a handle having an IC gripping end for holding an IC during insertion into a socket. As the IC pins enter the socket, the gripping end retracts automatically ejecting the IC. As a further feature, a pin straightener is mounted in the handle. The pin straightener is provided with an ejecting bar operatively connected to the retractable gripping end.
