Resilient transport roller construction - has elastic intermediate ring between inner and outer rigid rings

The transport roller is for a roller conveyor track. It comprises an outer (2) and an inner (4) ring, with an elastic intermediate ring (3) between them. Rubber or plastics can be used as the material for the intermediate ring, it being vulcanised or glued to the outer and/or inner one. Bosses can be provided on the rings to hold them together, and the roller can be used as a conveyor belt roller bearing. The design has a damping effect on shock loads transmitted by the goods handled to the bearing, and thus increases life of the latter.
