Use of oxadiazole derivatives for corn root worm control

A method for killing corn root worms which comprises applying to the soil habitat of the root worms an insecticidally effective amount of a compound of the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 is hydrogen or alkyl or alkoxy group of 1 to 6 carbon atoms; R2 and R3 are alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and X, Y, Z and V are oxygen or sulfur.
