Boiler for espresso coffee machine comprising a chamber (1) made from a good heat-conducting material and heated by an electrical element (3) wound in a spiral about its outer walls. In between the turns of this element (3) is a copper pipe (2), likewise spiral-wound, with the submerged end (6) at the top of the chamber to convey the pre-heated water to the steam nozzle. The water is turned into steam by the application of additional heat from the heating element (3) to said conveying pipe (2). <IMAGE>
