The writing pad and file comprises an outer-cover which opens up to provide a working surface. On the left hand side (1) is a press clip (5), used to hold a pad n7) of blank writing paper or printed forms. On the right hand side (2) is a ring binder (4), positioned along the edge of the back strip (3) and used for holding or storing other papers (6). Clip and binder are positioned so that, when the cover is closed, they fit into areas (8, 9) not taken up by the papers. Fold-over flaps and pockets can be provided.
