An automatic coupling plate for a tractor hitch has a pendant support with telescopic servo driven arms to engage the attachment and draw it into the coupling position. The plate locates with a similar plate on the attachment so that all the couplings and the servo supplies are automatically connected. The device is self locating and enables attachments to be fitted and dropped without the driver having to leave the cab. The telescopic arms have a square cross-section for rotation security as the plate is pulled into position.
