A below ground waste water treatment plant is constructed by pouring concrete around an inflated bladder disposed in a hole in the ground, allowing the concrete to set to form the treatment vessel. The bladder may be deflated or pre-treated to bond to the concrete by heat curing to provide a smooth interior surface for the plant, which is preferably a right circular cylinder having a horizontal axis. The bladder may be made of rubberized canvas, polythene, polyester, polyurethane, or a layered combination thereof and the inflatory medium may be (heated) water. The bladder is shaped to provide inlet and outlet parts in the plant.
|
