The pinion (6) carried by the shaft (5) of the motor engages directly with the wheel (7) of the minute wheel runner (7-8). The latter meshes, on the one hand, with the cannon-pinion (1) and, on the other hand, with the hour wheel (3). Through this arrangement, there is no runner which passes above the cannon-pinion (1), thus allowing space for the battery (9) and making it possible to save on the height of the movement. <IMAGE>
