<p>1. Apparatus for overall detection and localization of leaks in the jackets of fuel elements in the core of a nuclear reactor, especially a liquid-cooled reactor, said core being divided into sectors, comprising a group of assemblies, each traversed by a flow of liquid metal, of the type employing an overall leak detection and localization module comprising a mixing compartment at whose bottom open n sampling conduits for cooling fluid associated with n core assemblies, and a single conduit fed by the said mixing compartment, with a selector enabling each of said (n + 1) conduits to be placed successively in communication with a detector system for fission products, characterized in that it comprises at least two overall detection and localization modules m1 and m2 respectively associated with n1 and n2 separate conduits, the total n1 + n2 corresponding to the total of conduits of a given sector, and in that the mixing compartments of the said modules m1 and m2 are interconnected.</p> |
