The present invention relates to certain structural and pharmacological analogs of cis-17,18-didehydroprostacyclin (PGI3) wherein a nitrogen atom is substituted for 6,9 alpha -epoxy-oxygen of prostacyclin. These novel nitrogen containing prostacyclin-type compounds are useful for the same pharmacological purposes for which prostacyclin is used, especially as antithrombotic agents.
