<p>The friction plate assembly reduces jarring and oscillation of railway wagons (1, 2). In particular, it is for wagons with articulated coupling on a common axle or bogie (3). On a transverse wagon member (2) are two transverse plates (6) with a horizontal pivot (7) and a rotating support (8). The support has, below two parallel arms (9) with a horizontal pivot (10) between them. On this pivot are two rotating arms (11), each fitted below the end of a friction plate (12). The two friction plates can have a friction lining (13) at one end. The other end is locked in jaws (14) with a friction lining (15) attached to the other wagon.</p> |
