The flap (12) is linked to the furniture frame (14) by arms (28) and (30) of unequal length. The distance of the hinges (32, 34) on the flap is > the corresponding distance between hinges (40, 38) on the furniture frame(14). Arm (30) is provided near the hinge (40) with a buffer assembly consisting of head (80) of a screw with threaded shaft operating in an angle bracket (84) fitted to base plate (22) on the furniture frame (14). Arm (28) has a transversal bracket (58) near hinge(38) jointed with its free end to block (52) with lateral opening on one end sliding on rod (60). The other end of the bracket carries the tension-adjusting device (54) of a spring(42) the other end of which is fixed to bracket (44) connected to the opposite end of rod (60). This bracket (44) is fitted on fulcrum (46) mounted on base plate (22).
