<p>The device comprises a voltage source and an electronic oscillator, or amplifier, coupled between the two test terminals connected to the external circuit and a loudspeaker or indicating instrument, or alternatively the voltage source is coupled to a current indictor, across the test terminals. One or both of the latter is made from electrically conductive natural or synthetic rubber. Pref. one or both test terminals comprises a flat conductive rubber disc attached to a metal or insulating carrier gripped in the hand. The characteristic resistance of the conductive natural or synthetic rubber limits the current through the test circuit.</p> |
