Whole microbial cells may be immobillixed on polymers and used for their enzymic properties. Thus, glycidyl methacrylate in H2O was miced with N, N'-methylenebiacrylamide, after stirring Me methacrylate was added and soln. was held a 5≦̸C for 15 min. then, dimethyaminopropionitrile and NH4 persulfate were added and the soln. was held at 10≦̸C until polymn. began. the mixt. was stirred for 2 hr, H2O wsa added, and the polmer was sepd. A suspension of wet, fresh Aspergillus niger cells was mixed with the polmer in H2O, and the solid material was removed and washed.
