The h.f. lead through capacitor is a central metal spindle inserted into an outer conductor can and with pressure injected resin in the cavity between to form the dielectric. The object is constructional simplicity. The central conductor is a metal spindle (1) with a bulbous section (3) with removable flanges (2) which extend a little (A) beyond the edge of the bulbous part, and act as spacing formers. The central unit is inserted into the can outer capacitor plate (4) and a moulding resin (8) is pressed into the space (A) between inner and outer. When the resin has set the flanges (2) are removed and the ends 'finished off' so that in the final capacitor the resin dielectric extends just over the shoulder of the bulbous part of the central spindle plate. The central spindle is hollow so that a transistor or diode may be internally mounted.
