<p>PURPOSE:To provide a mechanically strong, highly active adsorbent by making pellets from kneaded material in specific ratio of pulverous iron are as main material, Ca CO3, etc. as sub-material, and binder. CONSTITUTION:To provide an adsorbent for removing harmful components such as hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide etc. from gas, 60-95wt% pulverous iron are as main material, 0-40wt% of CaCO3, Ca(OH)2, dolomite, as sub-material, and 2-10wt% bentonite, water glass as binder are mixed. The mixture is formed into pellets and sintered at 1200-1300 deg.C under acidic atmosphere to provide an adsorbent having high mechanical strength and good adsorption activity.</p> |
