PURPOSE:To enhance resolution by using a support consisting of an insulator as a fixing means of an electrode plate in the radiant ray detector used for a CT unit and fixing the electrode plate to fitting grooves, which are formed at a prescribed interval on this support, by adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Fitting grooves 10a and 10a' are formed at a prescribed interval on supports 10 and 10' consisting of insulators which are stored in arc box-shaped main body 5 where X ray FX passing through an object is incident, and signal detection electrode plate 6 and electrode plate 7 for high voltage are arranged on grooves 10a and 10' alternately and fixed to supports by adhesive (thermosetting epoxy resin, etc.,) 13 of insulators. Band-shaped insulator (polyimide, etc.,) 8 is stuck to element plate 6a of electrode plate 6 along the side near the side where terminal 6b does not exist, and band-shaped conductor 9 narrower than insulator 8 is stuck onto insulator 8. In respect to electrode plate 6, terminal 6b is connected to electrode 14 to take out detection signals, and conductor 9 is connected by lead wire 12 and is grounded. Then, terminal 7a of electrode plate 7 is connected by lead wire 11 and is connected to a high voltage source.
