PURPOSE:To simplify the recovery operation as well as to reduce the logging data quantity by carrying out the recovery in the after-image/before-image system like in the case of the data base or the direct compiling file. CONSTITUTION:For instance, about the recovery for the index sequence compiling file when the fault occurs in the software, the recovery is carried out via before- image data Bi which is logged. The index sequence compiling file is set to the original state in the following method. For Bi at time t3, data block B1 is added to the index sequence compiling file at time t3. And Bi at time t2 performs the deletion process for data block B8, and Bi at time t1 replaces the data of data block B3 with data D3. In such way, the state of the index sequence compiling file is recovered at time t2, t1 and t0 each. |
