<p>Pad is in the form of a shaped envelope of long fibre surgical wadding, of a suitable size to fit over the anal opening and be comfortable without being visible externally. The interior of this pad contains a pocket made from a gauze lining. This pocket itself contains a suitable mixt. of deodorant and odoriferous substances, which are used to absorb and disguise the gases discharged. At the same time, any noise occuring is absorbed and dampened by the thick layers of surgical wadding forming the outer cover.</p> |
