A kit (1) for remote control of the shutter release of photographic equipment (2) and the like comprising a remote control device (4) preferably of the electrical or electronic type having a release switch (5) and a mount (8) for the device to support the same on a photographic head (3) or other equipment. A seat (11) to house the control device (4) is provided on the mount (8) and the device is removably housed within the seat.
