<p>A small electric slow-speed sync. motor is comprised of an a.c.-sync. motor, and an a.c.-induction motor, in the form of a starting motor combined with the a.c. sync. motor, the latter being a simple reaction motor working on the magnetomotive principle. The starting motor is a special induction motor whose first stator pole is a ring pole and whose other stator pole has a phase-shifted branch. The rotor consists of two sheet-metal caps whose bottom surfaces face one another, and the pole tooth ring(s) of the sync. stator have and L-shaped cross-section.</p> |
