A vibrating screen assembly having a frame (12). The frame (12) includes a planar surface (24, 26, 28, 30) and a lip (32, 34, 36, 38) extending vertically from the planar surface to form a rim enclosure. A leg (56, 58, 60, 62) extends downward vertically from the planar surface. A ledge (64, 66) extends perpendicularly from the downward leg. A plurality of tubular cross supports (40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50) rest on the ledge and are connected to the leg. A perforated plate (55) with a plurality of screen cloths (53) thereon is positioned within the rim and secured to the planar surface of the frame.
