A pair of skis which can be steered by the skier has each ski made from two short skis. These two short skis are arranged one behind the other and are each attached by a central pivot bolt to a board. This board extends over both skis ans the skier places one foot on each board. By transferring his weight from one board to the other the skier can control his direction of motion. The skis are suitable for use on either snow or ice and provide a very easy steering action.
