PURPOSE:To correct the time of other watch by providing means for transmitting a signal having time information at a broadcasting receiver for television or the like. CONSTITUTION:A watch function is added to a broadcasting receiver A for television or radio or the like by supplying the output of an oscillator 1 such as crystal or the like provided internally in the receiver A to a watch section B consisting of a frequency divider 6, a display unit 9, etc. A time signal sound is, for example, picked up through a filter 4 from an aural rectifier 2 to thereby correct the time of the watch section B by the output from a time corrector 5 utilizing the time signal sound. The output from the watch section 7 is inputted through a data selector 10 to a modulator 11, which adds the output to a carrier from the oscillator 1, and the output is amplified by an amplifier 12 and transmitted from a transmitter 13. The time of an external watch can be corrected by using this transmitted signal. Thus, the receiver itself can be as a precise watch and correct the time of other watch. |
