PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption at copying cycle and achieve the stabilization of power consumption by so controlling the lighting of an exposure lamp and heating of a fixing roller pair that they do not take place simultaneously when the temperature of the fixing roller pair has reached the preset temperature. CONSTITUTION:As a main switch is turned ON, a transistot 60 goes ON and the fixing rollers are heated by the driving output 59-1 of an SSR 59 because initially the surface temperature of the fixing rollers is lower than the preset temperature. Since the surface temperature of a pressure roller is also lower than the preset temperature, the pressure roller 25 is also heated as the output 69-1 of an SSR 69 goes ON. When both reach the preset temperature, a copying OK signal is emitted by the operation of a relay 70, by which the copying operation is started. Since the push of a copying switch causes a light source lamp to light up and contacts 71 to open, no voltage is applied to the transistors 60, 70 and heating of the fixing roller pair is stopped. When the light source lamp goes OFF, the contacts 71 reset to ON, whereby the temperature controlling to the fixing roller pair is accomplished. |
