<p>The antenna support has a tower (3) fixed to the ground and supporting the rotating antenna assembly on the top. The antenna assembly has a vertical shaft (2) rotating in a socket in the top of the tower. The shaft has only one rotary linkage (5, 6) with the tower. The shaft has a set of radial arms (7, 8) at its top and at its bottom end. One or more reflectors can be suspended vertically between these arms. The antenna radiator is supported by at least two transverse members. The radiator is mounted between the upper and lower transverse members. The rotary coupling between vertical shaft and tower is a ball-type coupling.</p> |
