A layout in which fluid circulation tubes are installed behind a roof or facade cladding on the back of which a multi-layered skin with an infrared reflector is provided, is modified. The tubes of the collector element are embedded in a single or multi-layered wall structure, in concrete, in joints between plates or in wall facings the outer surfaces of which have a sawtooth contour. The facade cladding projects outwards and its angle can be adjusted to suit the lowest angle of the radiation of the sun. Arrangement makes the collector system independent of the radiation determined by the weather, and the energy can be withdrawn from that stored in the wall. No additional fluid store s necessary and in summer the wall can be cooled so that heat can be extracted from inside the building.
