PURPOSE:To improve the resolving power by sticking an electret film to at least one principal surface except the liquid crystal sealing surface of a substrate glass. CONSTITUTION:An electret film 7 is stuck to the rear face of a glass plate 1 as the principal surface other than the display face of a liquid crystal display body. About 10kV voltage is normally generated in the electret film 7 and this potential is applied to the inter-electrode gap through the glass plate 1. Therefore, orientation of liquid crystal existing between an X electrode 3 and a Y electrode 4 is always kept constant to improve the revolving power of liquid crystal display. |
