PURPOSE:To improve the display quality of a totally analog display electronic watch as a complete electronic watch by forming analog display format of liquid crystal or the like moving sequentially with one hour and minute hands. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 18 having an area corresponding to three hour hands at the center side of the display surface of an electronic watch and an electrode 19 having an area corresponding to three minute hands on the outer periphery are connected at the end to thereby form one electrode. Twenty such electrodes are disposed on the entire periphery of the watch. Sixty other electrodes 27 becoming a pair with the above electrodes are also provided on the entire periphery of the watch to be divided into several groups to drive in multiplex and to be thus connected between the electrodes. The display electrodes are thus formed in a pair to thereby display the hour hand short by the electrode 18 and the minute hand long by the electrodes 18 and 19. |
