PURPOSE:To improve a discharge response property in a high-speed recording such as non-impact recorders, by enabling liquid to be discharged resulting from both the action of a change in a mechanical pressure and the action of a change in a thermal energy. CONSTITUTION:Liquid from a liquid supply unit 8 is stored in a liquid chamber 1, the liquid being discharged from discharge orifices 5-1 and 5-2 through heat working units 2-1 and 2-2. Thus, non-impact recording or the like is performed. According to signals from a record signal S, a change in a mechanical pressure and a change in a heat energy are then produced in liquid by a system 6 and by two systems 7-1 and 7-2, respectively, to discharge the liquid. Because of affording both the change in the pressure and the change in the heat energy, it helps in improving a discharge response property, and the device is suitable for a high-speed recording. |
