A portfolio for temporary use as a filing folder comprises a paper or cardboard blank 5, Fig. 1, which is divided by a fold line 6 into a sheet 8 and a strip 7, each provided with a pair of aligned holes 9, 11, the former serving for mounting of the sheet 8 in the filing folder by means of a filing device 4 and the latter for filing of perforated stationery by a filing device 12 when the strip 7 has been folded through 180 degrees into the plane of the sheet 8. In another embodiment the sheet 8, Fig. 5, is provided with folding flaps 30, 31 and a cover 19, the flaps and cover being used after completion of a file for folding over the topmost filed sheet to protect the filed sheets against ingress of dirt. The cover 19 which is provided with a pair of holes 20 is secured to the strip 7 by means of a filing device 15, 16 passed through the holes 20. |
