<p>The light has a metallic shade with perforations, the perforated shade being formed by a galvanised metallic coating between 30 and 300 and preferably 100 microns thick. It can be seamless, and the perforations can widen towards the rear from the outside, being of round or hexagonal shape. They can also have a transparent and pref. matt coating on the side towards the light source, typically of heat-resistant sheet material. The source can be so situated that the rays strike the inside of the shade at an angle preventing direct egress through the perforations.</p> |
