The ladder base is adjustable for width and height. It has extension arms that fit to the ladder via sliding and articulated brackets (1). A variable width base (2) fitted to the bottom of the ladder has brackets at its ends, through which slide tubular supports. These are fixed higher up the ladder by brackets placed between rungs.
