Shaped goods are formed by melt-assembling cross-linked polyethylene foamed particles having a large number of micro-cellular structures. The following conditions apply: (a) the foamed particle has at least a 3-fold skin thickness per film thickness of cell structure of the interior of the particle; (6) m.pt. of the resin composing cell structure of the foamed particle is at least 107 deg.C; (c) density (D) of shaped goods is in a range of 0.25-0.05 g/cm2 and satisfies the inequality (I) with stress (F) to compress the shaped goods to 25%; (d) the dent coeff. between particles to form surface of the shaped goods is upto 10; (e) dimensional change ratio of the shaped goods with time is upto 90≦̸C for 96 hrs.
