A solar heat collector assembly consists of two types of collector which are connected in series. The first type is a simple flat collector panel and the second can be a flat panel with two transparent cover plates or a U-tube in the focus of parabolic reflectors or a absorber in the path of the beams from ground reflectors. The series connection achieves higher temps. for the heat carrier medium and raises the thermal efficiency.
