A Viewdata computer controlled centre which is connected via a telephone network to a plurality of subscribers and delivers to the subscriber a variety of Viewdata information, comprises microcomputer controlled line submodules LSM n arranged at a decentralized level performing input and output sequences of operations: line modules LM (microcomputers) at a partially centralized level controlling processing sequences, and independent functional units, ZIE, ZTE, ZÜE (process control computers) at a centralized level handling the information to be delivered, the subscriber data and the messages to be transmitted, and monitor the sequence of operations in the centre. Information is stored on large memory devices MPS; exchange of data between line units LM and the functional units is in blocks, via ZVE. <IMAGE> |
