<p>A compact electrostatic photocopier has a short endless band looped over two rollers (46, 48) near a developing station (57) at one end and a transfer station (58) at the other end. The image is exposed onto the flat top part of the loop and the transfer station has a copy feed followed by a cleaning brush (74). The whole system is compact and operates with a scanning charging electrodes, with the belt stationary during scanning. For multi-copies the belt is stopped for each scan and then moved for a complete cycle.</p> |
