LASER HAZARD PREVENTING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent radiation of light output from a light device to the naked eyes by providing a shield body having a movable knock-pin of the shape covering the hole of a receptacle. CONSTITUTION:The device is so arranged that at the time of inserting a U link plug into the receptacles 8, 9 of a receiving side outer frame 6 by holding knobs 4, 5 the lower part of the plug 1 contacts a shield plate 13 and that when this plate lowers downward a knock-pin 14 moves along the guide groove 12 of a support base 10. In this state, a terminal part 3 is inserted into the receptacle 3 and photo connection is thus accomplished. When the plug 1 is removed from the receiving side, the shield plate 13 is pushed up by the receiving spring 11 of the support base 10 and the light output from the receptacle 9 is cut off. In the state where the plug of the light U link connector is removed in this way, the light output is perfectly cut off and the radiation of the light output to the naked eyes may be prevented.
