<p>The counter, particularly designed for serving food from containers of food prepared behind the counter, comprises a frame which is enclosed along the front. The top surface of the customers' side of the counter has a slide track for horizontal trays. A service hatch is formed of a top part of the frame and is connected to the tray-slide track. The top section of the frame forming the service hatch consists of a flat housing, horizontally positioned, in which is an electric heater. The underneath surface of the housing has an opening for letting out the radiation heat for keeping the food warm. The frame has a large number of vertical brackets spaced apart along the counter and supporting the upper frame section and tray slide.</p> |
