PURPOSE:To eliminate a standard voltage generator in a gas laser device by selecting specified voltage of detected voltage generated at both terminals of current detecting resistors of respective current control circuits connected in series with a plurality of discharge paths by a logic circuit and using it for the common standard voltage of the current control circuit. CONSTITUTION:Current control circuits 13a, 13b are respectively connected to cathodes 7a, 7b of a U-shaped laser tube 1 containing a translucent output mirror 2 at one end, a recess reflecting mirror 3 at the other, two sheets of folded mirrors 4, 5 at the intermediate, and gas laser medium to thereby create dicharge paths 8a, 8b in the tube 1. In this configuration, the circuits 13a, 13b consist respectively of current control transistors 131a, 131b, error amplifying transistors 132a, 132b, and current detecting resistor 133a, 133b. Switching diodes 136a, 136b are used as a circuit for imparting standard voltage thereto. Then, these diodes are connected through a resistor 14 to a DC power supply 15 to be operated as a logic circuit. |
