PURPOSE:To expand the application range of a device by maintaining only specific and random disk surfaces in an information-rewrite-inhibition state. CONSTITUTION:To NOR circuit 10 connecting to write function circuit 11, NOR circuit 8 is connected through inverter circuit 9, side-1 write protection detector 1 through NOR circuit 5 and side-1 write protection detection circuit 3, and side-2 write protection detector 2 through NOR circuit 6 and side-2 write protection detection circuit 4. Consequently, when write protective display is detected from any one side or both sides of a both-side magnetic diskette, input signal e5 or e6 to NOR circuit 10 is held at a high level and drive selective signal e8 and write signal e7 are put in an active state to hold at a low level write signal e10. As a result, write function circuit 11 is turned OFF to maintain a write disability state. |
