PURPOSE:To obtain invariable-excellent reproduced signals by specifying the shape of stuck piezoelectric elements. CONSTITUTION:Of stuck piezoelectric elements 34 and 36, at least a part where magnetic heads 38 and 40 are arranged is shaped in an arc extending along the outer circumference of a tape guide cylinder composed of lower cylinder 6, upper cylinder 10 and rotaty cylinder 42 and then magnetic heads 38 and 40 are mounted on its outer circumferences 60 and 62 with gaps in a normal-line direction. As a result, expansion directions of piezoelectric elements 34 and 36 agree nearly with rotation tracks of magnetic heads 38 and 40; even when piezoelectric elements 34 and 36 would be inflected by applying electric energy, a slant of the same angle as that of deflection is caused in a head longish direction and no angle slant is caused in a head width direction with the electric energy released. Consequently, even if the electric energy is applied to stuck piezoelectric elements 34 and 36 to correct a shift in track, contact states between magnetic tape 2 and magnetic heads 38 and 40 never change and excellent reproduced signals can be obtained. |
