The wall section is particularly for vehicle superstructures, comprising two cover plates. Along opposite edges it has mating halves of a clip-type coupling (9.12). A channel (17) can be enclosed between the plates at one edge, while one, or both of them (6, 8) can be bent over inside, to form an edge (9) fitting in a long groove of the coupling strip (12), which can be of double T-section. The coupling strip may be U-shaped with two long flanges forming an undercut groove. The edge folds of each plate may be spring, thus engaging the groove of the respective coupling strip in a clamping or spreading manner.
