What is proposed is an apparatus for attaching valves to packaging containers or to a web of packaging material intended for the production of bags, which is suitable for the rapid fastening of valves by means of an adhesive coating. The apparatus has a tool (3) for piercing orifices (4) in the packaging material, a device (7) for supplying the valves (8) in alignment with the orifice (4) in the packaging material, and a ram (9) for pressing down the valves (8). The device (7) for supplying the valves has a device (24, 25) for drawing a carrier strip (14), carrying the valves (8), around a deflecting edge (20), in such a way that the valves (8) are detached from the carrier strip (14) in front of the ram (9). <IMAGE> |
