The slide-in frame is for printed circuit boards with two parallel guide rails in the direction of slide of the boards. The guide slots face each other and extend over the two longitudinal edges of the board. It produces an increased number of contacting points between the printed circuit boards and the remainder of the circuit. One of the two guide rails (2) is made with a contact spring strip such that the spring-loaded terminals (3) can be extended beyond the slot (4). The printed circuit board (5) is made with contact surfaces (7) along the edges (6) to form joints with the spring-loaded terminals. There is a lever (8) which is used to extend the spring-loaded terminals. The printed circuit board can also be locked in position.
