A slide projector (1) is suitable for the projection of mounted slides (2) accommodated in different magazines (3, 11). The magazines (3, 11) to be used are distinguished by a differing slide compartment width. The intention is to achieve a matching of the effective width of the slide change slider (4) of the projector (1) to the differing slide compartment widths of the different magazines (3, 11). For this purpose, the width of the slide change slider (4) in its active region is smaller than the spacing between one and the next but one slide (2) in the magazine (11) with the smallest slide compartment width. Moreover, a rider (14) displaceable in the direction of transport of the slide change slider (4) is displaceable along this active region as far as its face edge (4b), the width of which is greater than that of the change slider (4) and smaller than the spacing between one and the next but one slide (2) in the magazine (3) with the largest slide compartment width. |
